Donating is the ultimate feel-good and hassle-free way for you to declutter with little effort and time. Thriftle is currently collecting baby and children’s clothes and items in the Brisbane metro area. 

How to donate:

1. Go to the Contact Us page.
2. Start the comments field with the word, Donate.
3. Feel welcome to provide more detail in the Comment section, or simply leave with the word “Donate” only.
4. Click send and one of our Thriftle team will be in touch shortly to arrange a collection time.

Items that can be donated:

Thriftle collects children’s and baby clothes, from newborn to age 12. Thriftle is also able to collect small to medium working condition equipment relating to children and babies (items that fit in a car) such as toys, prams, highchairs etc. Items should be in a good, clean condition, undamaged and that still have some life left.

Items that are not accepted for donation:

There are some items that are not accepted as donations due to hygiene and logistical reasons, including underwear, anything that should be a pair or set (e.g. socks, shoes) that is missing an item, heavily soiled or stained clothes, damaged items, broken equipment, anything large that will not comfortably fit in a car. Please do not donate anything that you would be unhappy to receive yourself.
